Bible Quizzing is about
guiding our youth into God's Word
and the Word into their lives.
While memorization and content knowledge of the Bible is unquestionably a valuable endeavor, the goal of Bible quizzing is to move the student of the Word to become an implementer of the Word.
To stop at memorization misses the point of Bible quizzing. We should be continually asking the question, “How does this passage shape how we live?” Start by learning about the author, to whom he was writing, and why. Knowing the context and culture helps the reader gain a fuller understanding.

As you study these books of the Bible, repeatedly reflect on the following questions to move you towards living out the Word you are studying.
-
How does this passage relate to those immediately surrounding it and those elsewhere in the Bible?
-
What does this passage say about God?
-
What does this passage say about the nature of man?
-
What does this passage say about God's relationship to man?
-
What does this passage say about man's relationship to others?
-
What call to action does this passage present and how does it challenge or affirm the way I relate to God, myself, and others?
-
What hope is found in this passage?
